I’m a writer and editor fascinated by the intersection of business, technology, and culture. I write regularly for Technical.ly Brooklyn and have also contributed to Fast Company, Marie Claire, The New Yorker, OZY, and The Week. Before I began freelancing, I was a senior reporter at Inc. While I was there, in 2013, Inc. won a National Magazine Award for general excellence.

Among my current work interests are blockchain, algorithmic bias, and technological inclusion. Outside of work, I like discovering new music, playing the violin, making stationery, and watching football, tennis, and soapy TV dramas. I live in Brooklyn, New York, but I will always remain a true Virginian at heart.
